  • Surf: Bruce Irons confirmed to appear at BC Surf
    Three time Pipeline Masters Champion Bruce Irons and the Volcom Team will be signing autographs at BC Surf and Sport in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on April 1st. Expect tons of free stuff and give-aways.

  • Skate: Monster Island Skateboard Contest.
    The boys from Monster Island will be hosting the skateboard contest at Board Up Miami. The mini ramp event is scheduled for Friday April 9th at 7pm the street contest will be held Saturday April 10th at 1pm.

  • Surf:
    On June 9, 2008, Derek Dunfee severely broke two bones in his foot while surfing Cloudbreak in Fiji. Derek underwent surgery, installing pins, screws, and metal plates into his leg two days later. On Nov 20, 2008, only 5 months after the career threatening injury, Derek caught the winning Billabong XXL paddle-in wave at Maverick’s. Recently, a short documentary on what happened during those 5 months was posted, showing Derek determined to get back into the water.
  • Firewire Surfboards just released the "FireFLY".
